- Cell Phone Number — used for account verification (OTP), order confirmations, and service communications via SMS.
- Pickup and Drop-off Addresses — provided when you schedule a laundry pickup order.
- Order Details — service type, pickup/drop-off dates and times, special instructions, and order history.
- Payment Information — credit or debit card details collected and processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers; Stripe handles all payment data in compliance with PCI-DSS standards.
2. How We Collect Your Information
- Directly from you — when you sign up, schedule a pickup, or add a payment method.
- Automatically — session tokens are generated when you log in to maintain your authenticated session.
- From third-party services — Stripe provides us with a tokenized reference to your payment method (card brand, last four digits, expiration date). We never receive or store your full card number.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information for the following purposes:
- Account Verification — We send a one-time passcode (OTP) to your cell phone number via SMS to verify your identity.
- Order Fulfillment — We use your name, phone number, and addresses to schedule, coordinate, and complete your laundry pickup and delivery.
- Service Communications — We send SMS messages to confirm orders, provide status updates, and communicate essential service information.
- Payment Processing — We use your payment information through Stripe to process charges for services rendered.
- Customer Support — We use your contact information to respond to inquiries and resolve issues.
4. SMS/Text Messaging
By providing your cell phone number and using our service, you consent to receive SMS text messages from Greenwich Clean Time. These messages include:
- One-time passcodes (OTP) for account verification
- Order confirmation and status updates
- Service-related notifications
Message and Data Rates may apply. Message frequency may vary based on your use of the service.
You can cancel SMS messaging at any time by replying STOP to any message. After sending STOP, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to receive messages again, you can opt back in by logging into the service.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
5. Third-Party Service Providers
We share your information with the following third-party providers as necessary to operate our service:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS SNS) — to deliver SMS messages to your phone number.
- Zoom (Zoom Phone SMS) — to deliver SMS messages to your phone number. Zoom's privacy policy is available at zoom.us/privacy.
- Stripe — to securely process payment transactions. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
6. Data Retention
- Account Data (name, phone number) — retained for as long as your account is active.
- OTP Codes — expire after 5 minutes and are invalidated after use.
- Session Tokens — expire after 30 days or upon logout.
- Order History — retained to provide you with order records and for our business operations.
- Payment References — Stripe customer and payment method identifiers are retained while your account is active. Full card data is stored only by Stripe.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information:
- Phone numbers are stored in normalized E.164 format.
- OTP codes are generated using cryptographically secure random number generation.
- Session tokens are generated using 32 bytes of cryptographically secure randomness.
- Payment card data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers.
- All communication between your browser and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal information we hold.
- Correct inaccurate information (e.g., update your name).
- Delete your account and associated data by contacting us.
- Opt out of non-essential SMS communications.
